They're portions are huge, I personally have tried better noodles to me they were a little undercooked the broth to me it felt like it was missing something. But their service is excellent and fast everyone welcomes you and thanks you as you leave, I liked that they let you personalize your Ramen adding extra toppings but they also charge extra for each topping, everyone gets a free Ajitama (boiled egg) at no charge until supplies last . For 2 Ramen and 8 gyozas and 1 drink I paid 67 dlls+ tip.

Ate here for dinner, had the spicy Tonkotsu and the Tantanmen ramen, both ramens were A++ just a warning that spicy ramen was spicy! the ingredients were fresh and Authentic, one of the best ramen’s I tasted! definitely worth 40 min wait.

Michelin star for a reason! We’re LA natives visiting SD basically doing a food tour πŸ˜† My bf and son love Ramen and we all agreed that it was one of the best Ramen we’ve ever had. While it’s hard to say something is perfect, this was definitely top 1-3 for all of us. We tried the tonkotsu w egg (plain for my son), spicy tonkotsu for me and the one with the fried chicken for my partner (both with added corn). Noodles are indeed perfect πŸ‘Œ I selected β€œhot” which is the lowest level of hot and it was spicy! I actually had to take some of the chili out, still amazing tho. Prices are fair and portions are large. We arrived 10 minutes before opening because I suspected there might be a long wait. We signed up for the waitlist on the tablet outside and as soon as they opened, they called our names within five minutes.

Had the Negi Style Fried Chicken and the Black Sesame Tantan with the extra noodles, and both dishes were excellent β€” especially the fried chicken, which was incredibly flavorful and well-prepared. The staff was friendly, attentive, and quick with service, always greeting customers warmly upon entering. The only downside was the cigar smoke from the neighboring lounge occasionally drifting into the restaurant. Aside from that, the overall dining experience was great, and I would definitely recommend giving this place a try.

Negi Miso Ramen was garlicky and very tasty. Really enjoyed it. The eggs were perfectly done, very soft, gooey yolk. Nagoya fried chicken was good, but not everyone will like it. It’s a bit sweet and heavy. If you’re ok with that, you’ll probably love this fried chicken. I liked it.
